I have had an amazing experience with the Early Trimester Assessment clinic. I am so grateful that there is such a program for women who are going through a miscarriage. Extremely poor communication from surgical team, it takes hours for them to respond, or even to talk to us, the attending physician does not even exist or come to round or talk to the patient, and rely on a 3rd year resident to run the show
I had a horrible experience when with my father here, so much so I had to put in a formal complaint. The hand hygiene is terrible, especially within the emergency room. The rooms and floors are not clean. The healthcare professionals like to put medications and other aseptic material onto of the soiled linen bins. Had my Turp surgery here and had excellent care while in the hospital.
The doctors and the nurses are amazing, they strive for your wellbeing and are extremely knowledgeable and efficient.....but this does not save you from having an almost traumatic experience from the outdated, smelly and filthy hospital you spend your days in....
