I can't ever recommend Stitchers to anyone. I brought in two backpacks and a few other items to be repaired and I gave Stitchers one month to do the repairs. I had a multi-week trip coming up where a broken shoulder strap was needing a fix and thus gave a huge amount of lee-time to have it repaired. When I checked one month later, the gear had not even been looked at. I was told it would be ready the following Monday instead. I needed my backpack repaired and noted the sign saying Stitchers Vancouver does clothing repairs as well. Along with my pack, I took in a shirt and jeans to be taken in. The backpack is sewn with crooked stitch lines and looks no better than my “quick-fix” duct-tape job. The shirt and jeans are worse. The work is obviously rushed; sloppy, misaligned and puckered. I came in to see if I could quickly get a patch that was falling off of my soccer jersey sewn on since the glue wasn't working anymore. It was done before I knew it and I was on my way.
