Drove to Stines today in broussard LA. Pulled in to the garding center with my vehicle to get bags of potting soil and elderly man rudely spoke to me asking to what I was doing here with my vehicle. Although it was a vehicle pathway to pull through and load up items, I was very uncomfortable the way this Stine employee spoke to me and no sooner multiple employees came out as if I had done something wrong. On a Thursday mid day I was able to walk in find my speed queen and purchase all in 20 minutes. The easiest purchase ever. The lady thats works back there knew her appliances ans helped me decide.
I happened upon this store when my local Veterans Organization, The American Legion, was there doing a fundraiser. I went inside to use the restroom but milled about and of course found things I had to have and couldn't live without.... and I was in heaven! Now I go just to find things. Just go. No need to thank me later. There is tons of parking and these true patriots support local Veterans! We need to make a habit of supporting those that support our military and Veterans! WAY TO GO STINE! Y'all nailed it!
After failing to get the correct fig tree from an online nursery source through one of the local home improvement stores, I decided to give Stine's a try. For the same price I'd pay for a one gallon fig tree, I was able to purchase a larger, healthy 3 gallon tree. I had a hard time trying to choose between a few plants all from the same tree type, the "Celeste" fig. They had 4 or five types available including LSU Gold, LSU Purple, Brown Turkey, & O'Rourke.
