This company is the best I have dealt with in Florida. They did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. Went above and beyond expectations.
when we moved to Florida about 3 years ago, prior owner had used Stilwell Solar and they originally installed pool solar system for him. I continued to use them for different repairs. In June I had a leak and they came out to check it for me and recommended removing the panel which left me with 9 panels and the technician told me it would be adequate to heat the pool which it was. RecommendedI rarely write reviews, and to be frank, a company needs to be very bad or extraordinary. In the case of Stillwell Solar, the word extraordinary is really not adequate. Bill Long, the owner, spent a few hours with me when we first met to explain the solar pool heater that he installs. In that this was going to be my THIRD install of a solar pool heater, the first two of which I found never to work, I was skeptical that any pool heater could actually work. They did a great job on our new pool solar system.
We have been using Stillwell Solar since 2010 when we had our first solar panels installed for pool heating. Bill lead us through the process from quote to installation and follow-up checks to be sure everything was correct. Minor service requests have been handled within 24 hours or on the day of our calling. Hurricane Irma damaged our solar panels, and the company came to replace as soon as our roof was replaced. Very timely and the right price every time.
