I visited Stillman Bank in Rochelle to have two documents notarized. I had my IDs, and money to pay for services if needed. Instead of courtesy, the clerk tried to send me off with some malarkey about national security prohibiting them from offering Notary service to non-members. Her supervisor just kept repeating "Im sorry" in a non-committal way, with an expression that said she was anything but.
