In the heart of winter and out of season, we were greeted with a ghost town. Which was NOT a bad thing. We loved what we got, we checked in and were greeted with a warm welcome despite the 15 degree weather. When we arrived to our room it looked like they upgraded our room to a 2 bedroom which actually worked out given my daughter needed somewhere to sleep quietly. DON'T LET THE ONLINE PICTURES FOOL YOU,, the Room is very dated. The stove and dishwasher were at least 25-30 years old but do work. Refrigerator ice maker didn't make ice for the first couple days of our trip but made a little bit before we departed. Mattresses NEED CHANGING ASAP because they are horrible. Carpet is old and needs changing. The garden tub in the primary bedroom is large but has no safety bar for easy in/out. *** STAY AWAY FROM THE VACATION CLUB!! *** I HAD TO GET THE MISSOURI ATTORNEY GENERAL INVOLVED *** For us, this location was ideal for our vacation, with a focus on outdoor activities and a trip to Silver Dollar City. The resort is in Indian Point, just south of Branson West and only a 20 minute drive to the strip. Our family enjoyed all three pools, with hot tubs and water slides at two of them, as well as the lake activities.
