I’m writing this review to bring serious attention to multiple breaches of client confidentiality I experienced under a therapist here at Stillwaters Counseling. As a teen client, I confided in a therapist about a past sexual assault incident that occurred years prior. According to Georgia law and the practice’s own stated policies, therapists are only permitted to break confidentiality if a client is a danger to themselves or others, or if abuse is currently happening and poses an immediate risk.
