Our group of 10 completed a paddling trip on the Lower Stikine in August, starting from Telegraph Creek. Our host, Karina, was amazing — she arranged our camping, long-term parking for our vehicles in the community, and a wonderful dinner at the historic River Song Cafe the night before we set off. Karina made the evening extra special by sharing local history and her own family's connection to Telegraph Creek and the Tahltan First Nation. They were closed when we showed up on a Monday but Karina graciously took us on a tour shared some stories & history and I bought the cutest pair of mittens locally made. Definitely worth the drive out.
Worth the drive out! Incredible place with so much history, scenic sights and incredible baked goods! Corina is a gem and very passionate about what she does, happy to see this place thriving!
