STHIL definitely builds good products I really like the 462c. The 400c is compromised quality to be a lighter saw for instance the 462c and bigger have a rubber wrapped handle and the 400c and smaller have this plastic feeling handle.Honestly I think Stihl should make a fuel injected version of all the most popular sizes of their saws like a 400i or 462i also a built in light that runs off the power the saw builds to power the spark plug would be nice.Also if we had a way to see how many hours the saw has on it it would be n... read more
If you want to work on it yourself buy a stihl product. I have used stihl all my life. Now you couldn't even give me a darn stihl. You people can leave that crap over in Germany!!! Peace out
