I have been growing my hair out for over a year, and I was a little nervous about getting a cut. I was looking for someone to help me clean it up, and Valerie went above and beyond. She walked me through everything she was doing and even taught me how to style it. I live in Waldo, there are 100s of stylists between my neighborhood and Barry Rd. but I will never go to anyone else as long as Valerie is still cutting hair.
My regular barber moved out of state, and I came across this shop. Valerie is not only one of the best barbers I've ever seen, but also has a wonderful rapport with customers and is just an all around great person. I would give 10 stars if I could.
We need more queer positive establishments!!! Thanks for creating a space for everyone
