My contractor had purchased my AO Smith water heater through Winsupply so when it went bad, AO Smith directed me to winsupply to exchange the old water heater for a new one under warranty. When I called, I was told I had to pay a licensed plumber to do the warranty work. Since I live distant from the winsupply I asked if I could pick it up under warranty and then pay a contractor to install it for me so.
