Everyone is so helpful and kind
Fantastic and pet-focused experience! They scheduled a routine neutering for my parents' dog within two weeks of our call, and did not pressure (or force) costly ancillary services before operation. All other vets we called demanded exams, vaccines, and microchipping in excess of $1000 before surgery. Everyone at Stewiacke River Animal Hospital was pleasant and wonderful to speak with, gave very clear pre- and post-op care instructions, and followed up with courtesy calls. Dr. Sanchez was absolutely amazing with Tom. (She said he was a wonderful boy)! She Explained everything I needed to know. As well as the vet tech (I can’t remember her name) and Jody at the front desk were absolutely amazing! I love going to this vet as they make you feel so welcome, and they have sooo much love for every single animal that comes in! Thank you & I will continue to do the 2 hour drive to take all my pets there!
I’ve taken my cats here since the week this clinic opened. I’ve been very happy with Dr Finlayson and her treatment of my cat’s asthma. I have noticed prices have increased sharply since the initial visit and was surprised to be charged $20 extra per cat for a nail trim during their yearly checkup and vaccine appointment this past year. I’ve had prior vets do this for free during appointments and would have done it myself if I had been aware of the $40 additional charge.
