Nice place to do the paperwork for buying a house
Look no further, you've found your next title company! I am a realtor and have worked with Stewart Title a number of times over the years. Maggie Medrano is an excellent title rep who is very responsive and customer service oriented. Their pricing is rather competitive and their services are unmatched. Big, deals, small deals, any deals, they'll help you out!
I'm not a fan of title companies in general or this one in particular. Real estate is one of those sectors, like health care, where it is difficult to shop around, and prices are, not surprisingly, much higher than they should be. Realtors steer you to one title company or another and you often aren't even asked which one you want to use. Just to provide a concrete example: we closed a real estate transaction at this location last year. They charged a $300 "Lender Loan Package" fee... but we paid cash - there was no loan!
