Sent Joe Rajunas an email 2 weeks ago after an initial phone conversation regarding an error made by their employee in our closing about 2 1/2 years ago that had slipped under the radar. Their employee listed the wrong address on our closing document that goes to the County Clerk/ Assessors Office for property taxes. We never got our tax notices, taxes went unpaid until discovery and we have been assessed over $2400 in penalties and interest. I asked them to reimburse those fees... Stewart Title forces out it's older employees in favor of younger inexperience cheap labor. Then when asked where the employee went they lie and tell you the person retired. Age Discrimination. Dishonest. Corporate GREED!!!!

Bank of Oklahoma/Albuquerque mortgage choose Stewart for the sale of my house to another party. I kept things simple. I negotiated a simple flat cost “seller to pay for x amount of buyer’s closing” as is often done. A simple line item that was communicated to Stewart. And they could not even get that right. How? Well they had that line item AND then had another line item for the Title Insurance. NO. WRONG. We had to close that day so me and the buyer had to resolve this offline.
