I scheduled an appointment over Labor Day weekend for an oil change. I had a coupon for a discounted rate and Brandon was able to honor it with no hassle and get me in and out of there in a reasonable amount of time. Thanks Brandon for the excellent customer service!
The service at this place has been declining since 2020 when I bought my car there. My initial visit when I bought the car was great! The first two or three service visits were excellent. Now I've noticed the wait times keep getting longer and longer. Even when you book an appointment. Takes about three hours for an oil change and tire rotation. Went to Stevenson's for service as I have for the past 5 years. I have been generally happy with the cost of service in the past even as I watched the ownership change, the free car wash go away and the folks I have depended on depart. I expected to spend $400 or so as I needed a new battery and spark plug replacement. The final bill was $1388.30 A very professional Blaine Peckham gave me a good faith estimate of $779.95. I have always had a decent sales experience at this dealership. Unfortunately, my experience with their service department has been very lackluster. To be honest, almost all car dealerships have poorly operated and managed service departments. My recent experience at Stevinson was a mix of excuses around them being slammed “scheduling is scheduling”, poor systems with incorrect information, and ultimately lack of training of service employees on conflict resolution. Damn I wish I would have read the reviews first. Stevenson THREE STARS IS NOT GOOD! I cannot blame your service department for the poor luck of buying a 24 Tacoma that literally died in the intersection W 3500 ish miles. BUT TO HAVE SUCH SHITTY RUDE AND IRRESPONSIBLE SERVICE… from the wait while NO-ONE acknowledged our presence apon arrival to the ZERO FOLLOW UP UNLESS I CALLED OVER 24 hours later!!!
