Owners are local, convenient location close to marinas and a lift, another location in the city. Large selection in stock of everything, can order and ship between stores. Knowable staff. I’m here all the time as it’s my dream store.
Steveston Marine and Hardware resolved a shipping issue quickly and above my expectations for a small item. Although the first item shipped was incorrect they had the item (now discontinued) I was looking for at an excellent price (probably original price from 2007 !) Well done. And my humminbird system is up and running again
The worst store ever! I picked Victory brand harness that I thought had an amazing price ($24.99 CAD). I went to the cashier and when I was about to pay, I realized I was missing another item, so I left the harness with the cashier and went to pick up the other one. When I finally got back, in that small time that I left, the cashier girl modified the price with a pen to $124.99 CAD!!!! I had the luck of dealing and working with Mehek She located the items I wanted , that no other store could. She ordered in one of the items and then a second one , when a friend also decided that he wanted one. She sent me pictures of the product, gave me a discount that was basically ended,shipped it really quickly, forwarded me copies of my visa, the invoice and the tracking numbers. very poor customer service. After purchasing. The fellow that sold me the fishfinder seemed like he was trying to help me. Unfortunately he sold me a fishfinder that is too big for my 16 foot vessel. I phoned to see if I could return it....at the moment I miss placed the receipt which I can't find. Asked to speak to the manager, ended up talking to someone who claimed to be the assistant manager and he was very argumentative he made a comment about splitting nickels.
