We left our car with this workshop for over a week (around 8 days) to investigate a noise coming from the engine. Unfortunately, none of the issues we raised were properly addressed. We were told the car was fine to drive, but it broke down shortly after and had to be taken elsewhere for urgent repairs — including safety-related faults that had previously been dismissed. Long established and well liked by smart local Wonthaggians this is a gem of an old fashioned, experienced and honest motor mechanic business. Don't let the look of the place put you off as you approach as there are no flashy signs, paved driveways, flashy building or comfortable reception area. What you get is a down to earth operation with massively experienced Steve and his team just doing a great job for a reasonable price. You may also find yourself enjoying a few words with Steve on almost any topic you can imagine!
