What is California vehicle code 27154 and since it is a vehicle and not a submarine, how would you define reasonably gas tight in regards to the difference between a cosmetic service and a required safety one. If I cannot slip a dollar bill into my closed door is it reasonably gas tight? If I close a plastic bag in the door and fail to pour water through the door, is it reasonably gas tight? Does the seal come from a metal to metal connection or does the rubber lining create the seal?
I have not had such a negative service experience in a long time, but Steve’s Auto managed to outdo themselves. The owner was rude, aggressive, unprofessional, and—based on my experience—appeared to be a scammer trying to upsell customers on nonexistent problems. I want to begin with Thanking the son at Steve’s auto service. My girlfriend and I were stopping by at the dmv in Oxnard after getting a smog check at a completely different auto service when our car battery died. I realized Steve’s auto service was right next door to the dmv so I stopped by and asked if they had a portable battery charger I can use. At first the guys was alright, before he claimed he put a new catalyst converter and wasn't so aswell as my wife's car so I ended not going there no more. He's a crook. Don't waste your time..
