Steve’s is one of the repair shops that “finds” new issues that “must” be addressed as they go, driving your total higher and higher. And even if they don’t fix what you initially brought the vehicle in for, they will not honor their initial Diagnosis, they will simple recharge you for it. If you enjoy being ripped off, Steve’s is your place.

I recently went to Steve’s Auto and had mixed feelings about the experience. John was genuinely kind and helpful, and I really appreciated how he treated me. Unfortunately, my interaction with Steve wasn’t the same. I found him to be dismissive and a bit rude, which made the visit uncomfortable. I hope this feedback is taken as an opportunity to improve the overall customer experience.

I would strongly caution anyone considering Steve’s Auto. I brought my car in for a noise issue and was told the sway bar needed to be replaced ($360). I also requested an oil change, and during that service I was later told the oil pan bolt “broke” and that I now needed a new oil pan for an additional $600. I was not properly warned beforehand and felt pressured to pay, bringing my total close to $1,000. Just days later, the exact same noise was still there.
