The work he and his son did at my home was fine but he charged my wife $75 for a few parts from Home Depot to replace the gas line under our cooktop. I wasn't home at the time. I spoke with his son on the phone after they left our home when my wife informed me of the charge and asked his son to send me a copy of the receipt for the parts purchased and his son agreed to. Steve has repaired and installed appliances in our home since we moved to the Davis County area 6 years ago. I find him to be totally honest, friendly, and knowledgeable. He completes his work in less than 1 hour. His service charge is $85.00 and a real deal, then you pay for parts after that. I recommend Steve's Appliance to everyone.

Deserves 0 stars... This guy is a scam, charged me $75 to come look at my dryer did no testing and "diagnosed" the problem on assumption. And then wants us to pay $220 more for something that may or may not be the issue.

If I could give 0 stars for this repair service I would. The repair man rescheduled the service due to being out of it after taking a muscle relaxer, and then forgot to come for the time he rescheduled until after i called to remind him. He left me the parts that were taken out of my appliance to throw away. And now he's calling and asking if I put a stop on my check from paying him last month when I have verification from the bank that the check cleared the day after he performed the service. Do not use this service.
