Took my Tacoma there while it was exhibiting symptoms of having a damaged steering rack. I TOLD them the steering rack was bad. They inspected the truck, told me I had a bad steering pump. I asked them to double check that there wasn't a problem with the rack, they insisted it was the pump. 400 dollars later, problem was not solved and they knew it immediately. I will NEVER go back here again. Be VERY, VERY cautious with ANY of the service departments and ANY of the work that was performed. My wife has a Hyundai, I have a Tundra. You are wasting your time and hard earned money if you do not heed this warning. If I wanted shade tree mechanic work performed, I would have taken it to a shade tree mechanic. I have nothing but good things to say about Stevenson Toyota. Ray Calhoun is a great salesman and always comes through with the auto you wish for! I have gotten 5 auto's from them 2007 till now. Vehicle: 2008 Toyota Tacoma 4x4. All of the below happened just prior to and just after Easter 2012. I bought the truck from this dealer and have had decent service to that point. Some warrantee work on a previous model '04 Tacoma. Quicklook: Poor service when the 'best' driveshaft/engine mechanic they had forgot to completely attach bolts to a retaining collar on my drive shaft.
