Great place to go if you want to spend your entire day in the waiting room bleeding or in serious pain. Drive to Newmarket hospital if you want proper care.

I came to the ER for something serious, I waited for an ultrasound for 5 hours, then I was told the technician left and I wasn't able to get an ultrasound. I'm very disappointed with the lack of management. I would've prepared to be in pain in the comfort of my own home instead for waiting at the hospital for hours and hours

if i could give them no stars, i would. i’ve been there for various reasons and every time they’ve disappointed me. i’ve quite literally left crying and in worse shape. i’ve lived here my entire life, trust me DO NOT GO TO THIS ER. south lake in newmarket has never disappointed ever since i converted. south lake has much much shorter wait times and most importantly, they will treat you with respect regardless of why you need medical care. i’m speaking as a long time citizen of new tec… IM FED UP with this ER.

Several people that came in with less severe conditions after us were seen and given x-rays before my mom was even looked at by anyone but the triage nurse. We had to beg to have my mom taken in, with her pain getting worse and worse. I can't help but feel like there was some amount of racism involved in how we were treated. We were the only people there who looked different. How we were treated was quite shameful.

I would like to express my utmost appreciation for the exceptional level of care provided by the staff at the emergency room. When I brought my baby in due to illness, the staff displayed remarkable professionalism and a genuinely friendly demeanor.
