I had a really terrible experience with these guys. my van broke down during a rental and ended up being towed to the nearest town. the mechanics there asked around if anyone had the right parts. Brett here in Motueka said he had the right engine to replace it, so i paid a lot of money to get the van towed over to Brett’s. I made a plan with Brett about exactly what day and time to get it over to him, and when the guy that towed my van turned up with it, they all acted like they’d never heard about it. Highly recommended! Steven helped us out on a Sunday when we heard loud grinding noises from our brakes. He replaced the brake pads quickly and professionally. The service was fast, uncomplicated, and very reasonably priced. We were really grateful that he helped us out on such short notice. Thanks again!
Dodgy mechanic overcharged in time on both accounts. Ou have to wait for an invoice by email a week later. Didn't do job properly ,had trouble with the car not running and starting properly after valve adjustment, sent 2 emails explaining the problem I was travelling, with no reply. I had to get it fixed elsewhere, one valve almost closed, others adjusted too loose. Wrote them another email explaining I had to get the valves readusted (at a third of the price) and that it would be good to get a partial refund. No reply.
