Dr. Werns is an excellent cardiologist and a wonderful human being. He oversaw my father’s cardiology care for a number of years. My father was fond of him. During my father’s final days under hospital care Dr. Werns was our only advocate when we were unable to get answers from the hospital’s doctors and staff. During a horrendous period for our family he was a shining light. My father always thought that his heart would kill him.
