When my addiction is triggered, I now have lots of techniques. Dr. Griggs taught me to think in different ways, starting with taking a look at my history. It was a big part of who I have become and I never really put the specifics together. Now, I have more confidence and I've not relapsed in months. Thank you Dr. Griggs.
I’m a teen and shy. Dr. Griggs wrote an ebook on assertiveness. It was really good. It gave me lots of easy techniques. It also explained why I’m not assertive. I found out there are sometime more consequences for not speaking up than saying something. If you don’t speak up, for sure you don’t get as much. I must agree that Dr Griggs is a fraud. I would be approved by insurance for 8 appointments, after 2 Dr. Griggs would tell me that I had used them all (perfect opportunity for him since I had significant memorie loss). Switched Dr.s and improved emediatly. I believe that dr Griggs was "Gasslighting" me. Dr.Steven Griggs. He knows a little about everything and everything about nothing. You let me suffer for 15 years!!!!
Horrible service, extremely unprofessional. Very condescending and there were several times I didn't feel like I was being listened to. I told him I've been researching a specific personality disorder for several years now and I expressed interest in getting a diagnosis. His response? "I don't know you well enough to diagnose you, go google your symptoms and tell me if you can rule it out yourself." Uhm... Hello? Aren't you a THERAPIST?
