Earlier this year after a CT scan, I discovered I had a large kidney stone stuck in my ureter. Dr. Sobey accepted me as a new patient, and performed a laser ureteroscopy shortly after. I'm very grateful to have found him. Through each part of the process (including post-surgery), he was available to respond to questions within a reasonable time frame. I needed a urologist for an annual checkup and Dr Sobey came highly recommended. I found him kind, patient and very knowledgeable. He also spent a lot of time with me answering all my questions never feeling rushed and setting my mind at ease. These are attributes you rarely find nowadays.
Dr. Sobey is entirely professional, competent and a thoughtful listener.
This morning I contacted the office of Dr. Steven Sobey, located in Southampton, New York. I have been a patient of Dr. Sobey for over 3 years. I needed to make an emergency appointment as I think I may have a urinary infection. The office receptionist told me the earliest appointment she could give me was three months in the future. Dr Sobey was kind, intelligent, and thoughtful. He read all my test results before he entered the exam room. Too many doctors read results for the first time after they enter, wasting precious time. Dr Sobey was very prepared. He patiently answered all my questions. I would recommend him one hundred percent !!

Dr. Sobey is one of the kindest doctors I have ever met. He made me feel comfortable discussing even the most sensitive issues and took the time to answer all of my questions fully. He personally responded to my phone inquiries, which was great.
Rudest staff ever....Bonnie would allow me to speak and kept cutting me off mid sentence. she was curt and snarky. she has NO place speaking to the public. will never go back to that office! Dr acts uninterested in your issues.
