Kanter was nice when I met him, but the surgery wasn't great and getting a hold of him or his office is very difficult. Expect multiple appointments and delays.I had a small cyst less than 1-inch removed where I was left with a large 2-inch scar. I also had significant bleeding and limited mobility from the surgery.The doctor told me I wouldn't need to spend time in recovery or have someone drive me, so I listened. Dr. Kanter is patient, kind and knowledgeable. He will answer questions and address your concerns.
About 11 years ago, Dr Kanter did an umbilical hernia mesh implant for me. Right after the surgery, the incision started getting red and no matter how careful and clean I was with it, it got infected and needed to be treated for several weeks. Fast forward to today, my mesh implant has been moving toward the surface, to the point where it's about to break the skin. I will need surgery again.

He didn't seem to care much. You are just another check and your feeling and emotional state about the life threatening issue means nothing at all. The answer to most questions about my situation was "I don't know"
I had a breast nodule removed for biopsy, and the scar is barely visible. Dr. Kanter was awesome!
