I was referral to Doctor Peskind, due to a chronic ear infection I being having for years. Everything was fine until I received a phone call for the insurance lady this morning with a high tone of voice and rude. To let me know a day before my appointment I have to get a referral from my insurance. When I give this information last month of my ER Referral, I wait almost 2 months to see the Specialist until a day before she has to tell me this. I visited in 2023 for chronic sinus/ear infections. Dr. Peskin was very kind; he looked in my nose and determined there wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. He said he could tell by my posture that I was stressed and it’s not an issue with my ears or nose - no other investigation. Fast forward 2 years, I was still suffering from chronic sinus/ear infections and went to a different ENT. They did an allergy test and CT scan. Complained of regular sinus inflammation, popping specifically in my left ear and post nasal drip resulting in tonsillitis; he inspected my ears and saw nothing on the outside so he concluded I must not have an issue with my ears. He put a scope in my nasal passages and since I wasn’t experiencing any issues that day, he determined I must have not been experiencing post nasal drip and I just misunderstood what it was. Dr. Peskind is an AMAZING doctor. He took his time with me, and I loved his personality—he has a great sense of humor! He is a very clear communacator. I trust him to be honest, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. I went to him for a second opinion, and he was far better than my first doctor. He walked me through my CT scan in detail and used his camera to explain everything clearly. I would recommend him 10/10.
