I cannot recommend Dr. Meixler highly enough. I first met him six years ago when I brought my grandmother to WestMed Urgent Care for a COVID scare. He personally called afterward for a follow-up and quality assurance check, and we had such a thoughtful conversation about her health and needs that I asked if he would take her on as a patient. I began seeing Dr. Meixler in 2024. I found him to be exceptionally thorough i.e., he did a thorough intake, went through all my history in the Summit system, questioned areas of concern and scheduled certain Pulmonary test and xrays since I had not been to a pulmonologist in many years. During my next visit, he went over all the rest results with me, even showing them to me on the screen. Dr. Meixler is an exceptional physician—kind, caring, and attentive. He takes the time to truly listen without rushing and is dedicated to understanding and helping. His bedside manner is outstanding, making him one of the best physicians I've ever encountered. Please don't retire anytime soon.
As someone else stated in review, my first visit to the office I was made to undergo additional testing that wasn't covered which caused me to incur additional fees put of pocket. Be careful what tests they put you through and check with your ins. or they will make you pay. However, it's worse, as Dr. Meixler Won't even reply to simple portal question stating he is too BUSY of a practitioner to reply on portal that I must schedule an office visit $$$.
