I met Dr. Steven Meixler about 9 years ago. Having him as my Primary Physician has been life changing, literally. I was recently declared Cancer Free and I have him to thank. From diagnosis to treatment to remission he has held my hand through it all and even became my wife's primary doctor and support as she navigated the diagnosis with me. I cannot recommend Dr. Meixler highly enough. I first met him six years ago when I brought my grandmother to WestMed Urgent Care for a COVID scare. He personally called afterward for a follow-up and quality assurance check, and we had such a thoughtful conversation about her health and needs that I asked if he would take her on as a patient. I began seeing Dr. Meixler in 2024. I found him to be exceptionally thorough i.e., he did a thorough intake, went through all my history in the Summit system, questioned areas of concern and scheduled certain Pulmonary test and xrays since I had not been to a pulmonologist in many years. During my next visit, he went over all the rest results with me, even showing them to me on the screen. Dr. Meixler is an exceptional physician—kind, caring, and attentive. He takes the time to truly listen without rushing and is dedicated to understanding and helping. His bedside manner is outstanding, making him one of the best physicians I've ever encountered. Please don't retire anytime soon.
