My husband saw Dr Kobren, who missed his cardiac problem. He told him he had carpal tunnel syndrome for pain he was experiencing in his wrists. Apparently missing a clue as to a fatal heart blockage. Hubby dropped dead from a massive HA. So, I’m not impressed, he needs to take more time and run on “ roller skates” between patients.
Dr Kobren has been taking care of me for 40 plus years. He is a brilliant and caring doctor. Very straight forward and explains what is going on. He also took care of both my mother and father for many years. I drove them from Brooklyn to Great Neck because I knew he would give them the best care . He cares greatly about me and my family. I have referred Dr Kobren to many friends and will without any hesitation continue to do so. He is the best of the best.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kobren’s for over 30 years. He’s exactly the kind of doctor you want in your corner — knowledgeable, honest, and truly dedicated to his patients. He always makes sure you get the care and services you need, and your health is always his top priority.
Why make an appointment if you have to wait an hour past it? Dr. Hurricane comes in and out. His stethoscope barely makes a 1/2 second landing on your chest then he runs out to another patient. They triple book appts. Dr. Kobren is a good Dr. but his office visits have become unfulfilling. Spends no time with you even though he says "any questions or concerns?". You are totally rushed. Dr. Kobren is truly the best in town. Since he took over my care two years ago, my health has significantly improved. I had been struggling under a complex and overwhelming medication regimen prescribed by my previous PCP, but Dr. Kobren took the time to really listen, thoroughly review my records, and thoughtfully adjust my treatment plan.
