I have been a patient of Dr. Steven Gorelicks for over 10 years. He is one of the best doctors I have ever met. As a doctor he is top notch and his bedside manner is second to none.
Dr Steven Gorelick and the entire staff at The Ridgefield Surgical Center were kind, professional, and even made me laugh. CNA Beth with an "e" (hope that's her name) and Nurse Judy were wonderful. I never thought I'd not hate having a colonoscopy, but it wasn't bad at all. That's how great this doctor and the staff were.
Dr. Gorelick is a breath of fresh air. Ive had a string of health issues over the last 10 years and have seen 20+ doctors, none of them as kind and patient as Dr. Gorelick. He never made me feel rushed and made sure I felt heard when describing my ongoing symptoms, despite looking perfectly healthy on paper and having all negative test results. He vowed to get to the bottom of my symptoms, and left me feeling cared for and looked after. Extremely rare these days.
I went to the ER month and stayed fir 6 days. Upon arriving, my diagnosis was a mystery (although I had clearly diagnosed myself - I KNOW Dr Web MD personally😉. Turns out I had very low hemoglobin. VERY low, so Dr Stephan Gorelick did my endoscopy (on the holiday$, ordered transfusions and meds but no surgery.or procedure . I pulled through -obviously- and will follow-up.
