Went to Dr. Wente for 10-12 years. Had back pain for years and years.He sent me to physical therapy whenever it acted up. Never once did he recommend me seeing a surgeon. He prescribed hydrocodone which I took for approximately 6-7 months and sent me to therapy again before he finally sent me for an MRI and then to a surgeon. Surgeon operated within a month. A day or two after, Wente came to my room and told me that I should have gone to a surgeon years ago. I followed HIS recommendations.
