I don't know why his current rating (as I'm writing this) is at 3.6, it should be 5 stars. Wait times at his office can be long, but it's for a good reason. He is absolutely THE BEST, I'd have him as my PCP if I was able to. I had 3 different doctors tell me I couldn't get pregnant because of my weight, but Dr Koch actually took the time to look for a reason & found it. With his help, I had 2 successful pregnancies & 2 healthy kids in my life. I will always tell others how fantastic he is.
If I could give this practice zero stars, I would. I am currently pregnant with a high-risk pregnancy and chose this practice hoping I would receive compassionate, thorough prenatal care. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite. When I was concerned that I could be experiencing an ectopic pregnancy, I called the office and asked if I could be seen sooner because I was scared. Love Dr Koch. I do not ever want to go anywhere else. He and his nurses, right down to his clerical staff are great. Please understand that each of us are human. We all make mistakes here and there. Would you want a DR to take extra time with you to explain or help you best way possible? If your answer is yes, do plan to take a whole day or at least half day of work for your appointment. Dr. Koch provides the BEST care because he is extremely knowledgeable, he listens and he actually cares about his patients. We are so very lucky to have a provider like him in this Healthcare desert of rural PA.
