This man has been as uncaring and selfish as it gets for me. First, he scoffs at my medical history. Then, after I cancel my procedure with him, he works in conjunction with HMC to ruin my potential to even get a referral to a more qualified physician in Oahu for getting me medical treatment. I have lived in Hilo for almost 12 years and now call it my home. I come from Los Angeles, where I had doctors at Cedar-Sinai Med. Center and UCLA Regan Medical Center. To find Dr. Stephen Kind was a miracle to me. From the moment I met him, he was kind, friendly and, most importantly, was patient and thorough, asked questions and explained the procedures. No aloha. Got frustrated for asking about ingredients in anesthesia being given. Said I've dealt with " naturalist before". 0 response when expressing gratitude for his time, since he mentioned I was lucky to see him on short notice. Side note. The guy from LA suggested magic Johnson was comparable to MJ in greatness. Know it all. HMC is a joke.
