I brought my wife to the UTHET Pittsburg ER the morning of December 26th after having fallen and hit her head on Christmas. At registration, the intake PCT-Registrar (a former co-worker with a history of animus towards me) was polite but cold towards my wife. Unbelievable lack of professionalism in the office in my opinion. Apparently a prescription they wrote wasn't covered by my insurance and instead of suggesting an alternative and verifying it , I was told to find out for myself and let them know! The 'dr' completely ignored my primary reason for visit and went to extremes (wanted an unnecessary mri) over something I just needed double checked. Just another medical corporation looking to run up billing for unnecessary tests and writing prescriptions for whichever pharmaceutic... read more
