I had laparoscopic cholecystectomy done by Dr. Giss this week. I have a lot of medical anxiety and I have to say that he and his staff were phenomenal. Dr. Giss took a lot of time to answer all my questions about the procedure and even some ancillary questions beforehand. Day of the operation was smooth. I never felt out of the loop and am grateful for all their help and expertise. Dr Giss saved my wife's life by diagnosing a critical issue and then performed life-saving emergency surgery....his experience prevented further invasive procedures during the surgery process, thus preventing a lifetime of the effects of that decision. At every turn, Dr Giss was cordial, kind, professional and thorough. We were the true recipients of such acumen that fateful day and will always be grateful for Dr Giss.
Dr. Giss saved my mom's life! He accomplished something that was nearly impossible, especially given the circumstances. He's not just a gifted surgeon he's also thoughtful, personal, thorough and he genuinely cares! If I had a question or if I had any concern I was able to contact him every time. He went above and beyond in every way! I was more than impressed. he's definitely not the "norm". He's just a great guy and a stellar surgeon.
Our entire family feels extremely fortunate to have had Dr Giss perform surgery on our Mother. His attention throughout the surgery and his aftercare was above and beyond. SIMPLY THE BEST!!!
