I went through 6 rounds of hell with three other eye doctors before I found Dr. Safran. He literally saved my sight. Seriously. If you're thinking about it at all, go see him. It is worth it, worth it, worth it. My only regret is not going to him sooner!
Dr. Safran performed an IOL exchange because I had a dislocated lens. I had 2 different surgeons who couldn't perform the surgery. I found Dr. Safran through a referral from another surgeon and I struck gold. His office and staff were so helpful and professional from start to finish. Dr. Safran is caring, professional and extremely talented. The Hopewell Campus of the Capital Health System was the best hospital I have ever been treated in for a surgical procedure. Dr. Safran is very qualified. Yet, no one contacted me as promised for date of surgery. I called his office twice !
I am deeply thankful to Dr. Safran for his exceptional care in managing my complex right eye condition. Nearly a decade ago in India, I was diagnosed with a parasitic infection that led to two full corneal transplants, followed by cataract surgery with IOP management.
