I went to Dr. Sable for treatment of my migraines and it took about 4 appointments before that even happened. Sue, the receptionist then told me I had to pay $50 for her to do her job( a prior authorization), which was initially denied but I decided to write an appeal to my HR and Insurance myself, which I have worked in health care for 30 years and I have always done this for our pts, they never did on their own.
