I had a phlebectomy performed by Dr. Friedman. He did an excellent job explaining and performing the procedure. The team at his office in Lake Success is excellent. Susan, Lucille and Melvin were super accommodating and caring every time I went there or spoke to them on the phone. Top notch experience.
Do not bother going to this Doctor, he is dismissive and condescending. Did not listen to any concerns from my husband a patient with a long history of blood clots, submitted notes that were an obvious cut an paste job because it was for a woman with an unrelated medical condition. I reached out on two occasions to make the update and guess what...unresponsive! One star is too high a rating.
Everyone was so nice - as it turned out, I was literally a “walk-in,” as another specialist wanted to cover all the bases & sent me over after his initial exam. They took me in almost immediately & did the technical stuff & then I met with the vascular specialist, who thankfully, gave me good news.
Dr. Friedman was courteous and professional. He explained the purpose of the procedure and was pleased with the results.
Our experience with Dr. Friedman was in short a complete waste of time. My daughter was experiencing leg pain, swelling, burning, and tingling of the lower limbs. The office completed a Doppler and advised her there were no clots. Dr Friedman did not physically examine her legs to evaluate the current condition of her vericose veins. He offered no recommendations ie use of support hose, elevating legs or possible alternatives such as sclerotherapy.
