Dr. Desautels spoke to me about 2 minutes before performing a EGD and not once after giving me a diagnosis I already knew and absolutely no follow up regarding my condition. I have no idea why he is apparently giving better care to everyone else here who has rated him well. He didn?t even study records from a previous visit to the ER and then wanted me to schedule a follow up appointment to give me the information he should have in the first place. This place is a total racket and the most unprofessional clinic I've ever been to. Never available to answer the phone, and determined to do everything in their power so you don't speak to a human face-to-face or even by phone. Instead, they try to push all their patients into using an awful, subpar portal so you're relegated to communicating by email. Granite Peaks Gastroenterology may be a mediocre facility if you are solely looking for preventative and basic care, such as colonoscopies. However, if you are in pain and dealing with any type of actual medical problem, this place should be completely avoided.
