My elderly mom was under Dr. Balint"s care for maybe a yr. He is GR8! Unfortunately, my Mom died (no fault of dr.)last yr. I was so impressed with how he spoke to patients, & how he listens to patients! I made him promise to make me his patient (when my Dr of 55+yrs retires,or worse.
I really like and respect Dr Balint and the staff at Jefferson Medical Group. The medical care, the responsiveness, the efficiency and the thoroughness are noteworthy. The attendant at the front desk went out of her way to get me an earlier appt. I waited less than 15 min in waiting room and no more than 15/20 in exam room. The medical assistant was great- she updated my chart, did the proper screening e.g. depression inventory and clearly presented my chief complaint to Dr Balint.
