Banner Health has non-patient centric practices. My husband needs a referral to a surgeon and Banner has indicated a referral takes 10-14 days to make. By the way, their referral office doesn’t accept outside calls either. The surgeon we are going to can schedule a consult just as soon as a referral is received. Why put these barriers in place when technology has the capability to address processes much more quickly?
The receptionist that answered the phone was a very rude to me just right now on the phone so I just waited over 40min for her to tell me with attitude that they’re booked till February Or March and the doctor Steven Cox is no longer seeing patients
