Dr. Allgood was professional and knowledgeable about my situation. He explained what might be happening and what the plan was moving forward, in lay terms that I could understand. I left feeling reassured and knowing what to expect next.
Dr. Allgood is not only an exceptional surgeon, but exceptionally supportive of his patients. He intently listens to concerns one might have, offering informed advice & truly understands what a patient with breast cancer is experiencing. Excellent care!
This was my first visit with Dr. Allgood and it was a new diagnosis for me. He is a kind warm professional doctor. There was no rushing. My exam was thorough. Dr. Allgood described in detail my diagnosis and prognosis in terms that were understandable. He used a picture and drew a picture to help me understand the exact area affected and the need for the biopsy. The plan of care including the procedure and what followed were explained. I left his office confident I would get the care I needed.
