Dr. Fern is an amazing doctor and such a nice person. He helped my family member with burn care and we couldn’t have asked for better care.
I just had the worst experience with this doctor in the emergency room at Greenwich hospital. My 4 year old had a laceration and needed stitches. He does not speak to me about what kind of stitches whether they will disintegrate or if we will have to come back. My daughter again who is 4 is screaming a lot. He is agitated as he is doing the stitches. I'm trying to calm her. He stop stitching her and grabs her face and chin very tightly and goes "I'm not going to continue until you stop screaming". Entire interaction with him was a highlights reel of what is wrong with American healthcare. My 4 year old daughter got a deep cut on her face that needed 6 stitches and took her to the ER. He came into the room and didn't seem to care at all about the patient, only focused on the fact he didn't accept insurance and we would be responsible for the cost.
