Steve is a first class drum teacher and musician. I not only gain technical skills from our weekly lessons but also a broader appreciation of drums as an instrument. His studio is the perfect environment for learning and creativity. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to learn from one of Melbournes premier drummers.
I am a guitar player who started playing the drums at the age of 33. I decided to take up lessons with Steve several weeks into my journey. It's been two years and I'm having a blast! I've become a better overall musician because my rhythm and timing have improved so much. Steve has a real talent in breaking down complicated problems and teaching them in a way that makes sense to you. It's genuinely impressive how he's able to do this on the spot for many of the problems I bring to him. Looking forward to our next lesson!

Steve has been my son's drum teacher for a year now, and he's been so supportive, kind and adapts his teaching to suit a much younger child.
