I tried very hard not to write this review because I don’t like speaking negatively about anyone. However, after reading the most recent review, I felt that I had to speak out. I also recently worked with Steve McCready but, unfortunately, my experience was totally different. I am also a medical professional, but I cannot recommend Steve to anyone , neither as a therapist nor as a Coach, for a multitude of reasons. I cannot discuss the details, but the experience was unpleasant at best.

As a fellow psychotherapist and colleague of Steve's since 2009, I highly recommend him and do not hesitate to refer clients to him. Steve and I have been in consultation groups together, and I am impressed with his coaching style approach, intelligence, attunement, and effectiveness with clients.
I give one star for initial enthusiasm. However, once you become a client, that fades. I wish I had worked with the Steve that the first reviewer described, but I did not. My experience was pretty awful, so I would not recommend Steve to anyone.
