Dr. Hamberis is the best family medicine doctor that I have ever known, and I am almost 86 years old.
My family were Steve’s patients for over ten years before we moved away for work. It has been impossible to find a new doctor equal to Steve so we traveled over four hours, and stayed overnight in Greenville, just to see him and receive the kind of personal care only he provides. The world needs more doctors as capable and as caring as Doctor Hamberis.
A wonderful Primary Care Physician. Extremely knowledgeable and extremely caring. Inquisitive, attentive and responsive to all his patient's needs. A very rare combination of Mind and Heart, and great bedside manner with a quick wit. Finally convinced my wife to switch to his care, and fortunately he accepted her to his very busy practice, and she has no words. As someone else wrote here, we love this man!
Steve and I have an agreement. He cannot retire until I am scattered to the wind. And, since he has told me I will live to be 100, he will be practicing medical perfection for many more years. I love this man. He has literally saved my life. He is, without a doubt, the best physician in Greenville, and quite possibly the entire state of SC. What more can I say??
Dr. Steve Hamberis is a gifted doctor at Riverside Family Medicine. He has been my doc for 14 years-I retired and located in the Greenville/Greer area. Dr. Hamberis is the best diagnostic FP in the state and spends time with his patients---he listens, answers questions and has a bedside manner that you don't see these days. GHS is fortunate to have this doc on their team
Dr Steve Hamberis is an excellent doctor. What I really like to see in his practice is to add a good nutritionist to work together. My previous doctor was Pete Manos who had added a nutritionist in his practice. Dr Manos retired and sold his practice I believe at the age of 80+..
excellent patient care, very knowledgeable, excellent bedside manner, very patient and caring, office staff appear overwhelmed, scheduling an urgent appointment is sometimes difficult, very busy practice.
