Dr.Goins is an great neurologist and a good guy! I have extremely severe tourettes syndrome, a lot worse than probably 90% or higher of patiens's diagnosed. He worked with me, listened, really cared and actually tried to help me. He knew and understood how severe and complicated my condition/s is and are even giving how rare it is. I miss Dr.Goins and wish he still worked at Pacific Crest and or was able to work at both hospital and Pacific Crest. Thank you Dr.Goins! I owe this man my life he was my neurologist from 6 years old to 18 and then even after an adult he seen me on an emergency basis due to my brain tumor. He was always on time with appointments, never rescheduled, always made sure my family and I got correct results, Never had ANY insurance or money problems with him! In fact when I was an adult and didnt have insurance and a hospital made a mistake and said my tumor had doubled in size he let me come in for an appointment for free to go over the results with me! First, this doctor has failed to agree to a contract with Blue Cross Blue Shield, so we had to pay out of pocket. Doctor required a $200 advance deposit, which we paid, after three phone calls with the doctor's office and two to our insurer. Finally, the doctor cancelled our appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, having decided that our son does not present a condition that he treats.
