Mathias and his crew did an excellent job of cleaning up my property and taking down a dead tree that was dangerous. They went over and above to make sure that everything was cleaned up and even fixed my fence so my dogs wouldn't get out. A little disappointed that he is not doing the waterproofing for a week or two, but I expect that will be the same excellent work. Fast forward two years. I'm a President of an HOA that has had alot of foundation work over the years. I've been looking for a company for several years that I can trust. We hired Sterner to do 2 jobs recently and we are very happy with their work and integrity. We did not receive a price till Mathias did a very thorough inspection. We have used Sterner Excavating for 2 projects and both were completed in a timely manner and as promised. The first was a French drain which considerably helped alleviate standing water in our yard. This was many years ago and is still working efficiently. Recently we had our gravel driveway reconstructed. The existing driveway was old and the base was large rocks and bricks with minimal gravel. Horrible people to deal with. They blame you for their faults and the damage they do to you property. It also looks like they got my husbands review taken down. Just imagine how many other one star post were taken down. Don’t use them
