Was quoted $2800 for custom boat cover for my boat from the upholstery guy, had him put me on his wait list, once he called we brought the boat, took a little longer than he said to complete but it wasn’t a big deal. Once the cover was complete I get a call saying my total is $4300 and some change plus tax. Came out to over $4700 for a cover I quoted $2800. Prepare yourself for sticker shock!!! Very, very pricey. Sterlings replaced 40 feet of old combing pads on my boat . My wallet is a lot lighter now, The new pads look good, hopefully they will hold up as long as the originals.
